As a singer/guitarist, I prefer to perform easy listening music from the 60s and 70s, accompanying myself on a semi-acoustic guitar. To amplify my voice and guitar, I bring along an amplifier where both the guitar and microphone can be connected. Due to its subdued nature, this music is best appreciated in intimate settings like living rooms, bars, restaurants, small halls, and theaters.

A live jukebox! Your request played for you!

In addition to my regular performances, I offer a unique Song4U concept, perfect for festivals and events. The stage is my camper, where one to ten people can sit. They choose a song from a repertoire of 120 songs from the ’60s and ’70s, which I sing especially for the visitors.

I bring all the necessary equipment and amplification myself. The cost for Song4U depends on the type of event, location, and your preferences. Please contact me for any questions and information.

HENK SMIT

As a singer-guitarist, I sometimes travel across the country, sometimes around the world, playing one time in a shady bar in Costa Rica, then in a cabin in Norway, then on the streets of Nashville, Tennessee, and just last week, I even played for half an hour with The Eagles, until it turned out there was a scratch on the DVD.

I regularly play suitable ‘background’ music during events like a reception, dinner, barbecue, reunion, or just on a cozy evening with friends. Often, a single phone call or a brief email is enough to get me out of my easy chair and put the guitar in the trunk.
